Where Jesus is still changing lives

Welcome to The Potter's House Swakopmund Website

We welcome the opportunity to minister to your spiritual needs. We are a Bible believing church, preaching the Gospel of Jesus to the lost. We assure you that there is HOPE IN JESUS Christ! Jesus can deliver you and give you a new life. We are ordinary people saved by the grace of God. It is our prayer that God will  touch your life in the same way He did our lives.

You will find that we have a number of services during the week.  We also support Friday night Youth Meetings. For those who have babies and kids, we have a nursery provided for that, where you can leave your kids with trained workers, that will engage your kids with activities while you listen to the preaching.

We envite you to join us for weekly life changing services.

About us

Who we are locally:

The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church of Swakopmund was planted out of the Mother Church in Windhoek, from the 2008 Johannesburg Bible Conference. We opened our doors on the 18th of January 2009. Eversince, we have seen a steady growth of converts. Our regular Saturday outreaches proved to be very fruitful as we see people getting saved and visitors come in each service. We have seen the hand of God move, drunkards, fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals being set free by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. These people are now living clean for God.

Who we are nationally:

The main branch of The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church in Namibia, is in Windhoek with two sister churches in Oshakati and Walvisbay. The Windhoek branch opened its doors in 1997, and has grown eversince with over 400 members today. We have other branches out of the Windhoek congregation in Tsumeb, Otjiwarongo, Gobabis, Rundu, Rehoboth, Okahandja, Luderitz and Keetmanshoop. The Windhoek church is commited to raising up disciples locally and planting churches, with a vision to plant a church in each city of the Nation of Namibia.

 Who we are globally:

The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church is associated with more than 1500 congregations around the world. Christian Fellowship Ministries was founded and is led by Pastor Wayman Mitchell, Senior Pastor of The Potter's House Church of Prescott, Arizona, USA, since 1970. This local body in Prescott is the mother church of the entire fellowship churches.

What we believe

Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever. Psalm 29:2 says, "Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." Central to the life of the congregation is the vibrant, heartfelt, excuberant worship of Jesus Christ as Lord.

Acts 2:42 says: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship." The life of the early church revolved around the faithful ministry of teaching God's word, and the bond of committed relationships that believers had with one another. Galatians 6:10 reiterates: "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." In order for worship to complete us, the church must be a fellowship of believers.

Mark 16:15 says:"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature'..." The Great Commission has never been rescinded. Taking the gospel outside the four walls of the church building is a defining ethic and emphasis of our ministry.

Matthew 28:19-20 says: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you..." Discipleship is a responsibility we take seriously. It is also a process during which we challenge believers to mature and grow as followers of Christ seeking to do His will.

Devotion refers to our commitment to God's will, God's ways and God's word. We believe in a serious minded approach to communication with God.
